Nadine Koppeser CFP®, FCSI, EPC
Certified Financial Planner, Investment Advisor - Manulife Securities Incorporated
Nadine has been involved in the banking and finance industry for over 30 years. She has held positions at TD Canada Trust, Prudential Assurance, MD Management, The Berkshire Group (which was bought over by Manulife Securities) and been an Investment Advisor with Manulife Securities for the past 15 years. In addition, she has held her insurance licence since 2004.
Nadine's business operates under the trade name of "Koppeser Wealth Counsel". As a Certified Financial Planning professional, Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) and as an EPC (Elder Planning Counsellor) she takes great pride in forming solid relationships with all of her clients, taking every effort to truly understand the personal financial needs, goals, and objectives of each person.
The mandate of her business is to ensure that the client's interest is always placed first and foremost. Often working with several generations of one family, it is her goal to assist, guide and advise on the many topics encompassing a complete and thorough financial plan.
Nadine has formed a strategic partnership with the Manulife Private Wealth Division and has been asked to be an ambassador for the Toronto team. Working in partnership with the Private Wealth Division allows Nadine to give her High Net Worth clientele access to institutional best in class investment managers, a unique goal based institutional approach to investing which is not available elsewhere in Canada, as well as some of the brightest and most sought after investment professionals.
Nadine has been married to Michael Koppeser for 30 years and together they have two grown children. Michael is a well-established and respected lawyer in Kitchener-Waterloo. As long-time residents, both enjoy the beauty and diversification of the region and support local charities and events.
Nadine is an avid fan of horses and the equestrian sport of dressage. Her daughter represented Canada on two occasions as a member of both the Junior and the Young Rider Dressage Teams, at the North American Young Rider's Championships. In her spare time, she is most often found caring for her gardens, enjoying nature walks with her dog, golfing or spending time with her family and friends.
Helen has a passion for assisting clients and fellow team members at Koppeser Wealth Counsel. Helen started her career with a leading trust company and acquired an interest in pursuing the financial services industry. Some years later, she gained exposure to the insurance industry with a local insurance company and more recently with a leading national wealth management company. Helen has served in many capacities with each of her employers and has honed her skills in client and team relationship building and support.
Helen is proud to have received a number of Client Service Excellence awards throughout her career and she feels this positions her nicely in her new role with Koppeser Wealth Counsel. Helen has made a commitment to continue to deliver exemplary service to both clients and team members at KWC. Helen is excited to join KWC where commitment to the clients’ needs are paramount.
Helen and her husband Les are proud to call Waterloo home. They consider themselves fortunate to live in such vibrant and diverse community. Being raised in rural Ontario, it was important to the McAuslan’s to raise their son (Shawn) in a nurturing and progressive community where relationships and community involvement run deep. Helen and Les enjoy spending time with their son Shawn, daughter in law Lea and grandchildren Kylie and Logan. Sports have always been important to the McAuslan’s and Helen can often be found in local arenas cheering on local children or family members. Most Friday nights for many years, you will find Helen and Les at The Aud cheering on the Kitchener Rangers.
